Almonacy scores 32, Serrano 26 to lead the Stingrays to a win over Bridgeport

The Stingrays traveled to Connecticut to square off against the Bridgeport Kings on Sunday night. The Stingrays led 35-23 at the end of twelve minutes of play and 61-50 at halftime then continued to pour it on in the final two quarters, pulping the Kings by a score of 131-107.
Mike Almonacy scored 32 points consisting of twelve field goals and six treys and went two for two at the free throw line. Almonacy had five defensive rebounds in conjunction with eight assists. Josh Serrano enumerated 26 points with eleven field goals and four three-point baskets. Serrano had seven total rebounds, two steals, and seven assists.

Curtis Fornchor scored twenty points, going nine for ten on field goals and two for four on free throws. Fornchor had eight total rebounds: three offensive and five defensive. Rigaud Destime notched nineteen points: seven field goals, two treys, and three free throws while making four assists, a block, and nine total rebounds.
Quintin Williams and Kyle Sutryk scored fourteen points apiece while both summating six field goals and two three-point baskets apiece as well. Tighe Oberg scored six points (three field goals) and made two total rebounds.
The Stingrays during their 2024-25 campaign lost the opener to the Jersey Express, then defeated the New England Lightning at home 140-113. In their third game they annihilated the Burlington Thorobreds 119-79, then dropped a road contest to the Lightning 118-112 and in their fifth game of the season after dominating in a commanding win over the Bridgeport Kings 131-107 they improved to 3-2.
